Ranked from 260 measured videos last recalculated 19 Aug 2026

This category has a failure mode the others do not: a meaningful share of its best-produced content exists to sell something at the end. A course, a community, a newsletter, a consulting call. That is a legitimate way to fund making videos, and it also reliably changes the shape of the video — the substance gets thinner as the runtime goes on, because the last third is doing a different job.

Our density measurement reads that shape without needing to know the business model behind it. A video that opens strong and dissolves into an offer scores lower than one that carries information the whole way, and it lands lower on this shelf as a result.

Business videos also have the longest average runtime of anything we measure, by a wide margin — interviews and long-form conversations are the native format here. Length is not held against them. But an interview’s useful part frequently begins a long way in, so every entry names that second, and on this shelf it is often the most actionable thing on the row.

We rank how densely a video delivers. We do not evaluate the strategies inside it, and a listing here is not a recommendation to buy anything.

Gistil's own measurement. Not a YouTube rating, and not the channel's position. Ranking is ours; the videos belong to their channels.

How this ranking is decided

Every video here was measured on the same axes: how much of its runtime carries information, how much is padding, and the second at which it starts paying off. The order is by value density, not by views, recency or how much we liked the channel. What the numbers mean →
